How to Choose
Build your kit around your route, your load and your routine.
01 — Start with the outing
Separate an organized rafting trip from a short riverside stop or a journey between launch points. Ask your operator what may be brought aboard and how belongings should be stored. Choose accessories for that actual context rather than assuming every item suits every current or craft.
02 — Plan what goes where
A main gear bag can group larger belongings, while a small organizer can keep frequently needed items together. Keep wet gear separate from items you want to keep dry. Check actual dimensions and closure instructions before relying on a bag for a particular load. Do not assume a roll-top shape or phone pouch has a tested waterproof or submersion rating.
03 — Think through the carry
Look at the transfer from vehicle to staging area. A tote offers open access; a duffel groups a larger load; a mesh bag makes contents visible. Use a paddle carry strap only for transport on land, and keep loose straps and cords away from moving water and entanglement hazards.
04 — Make room for the return
A changing mat, towel and separate wet-gear storage can help organize a shoreline reset. Select a stable dry area away from the water edge. Remove grit before folding and allow gear to dry before long-term storage.
05 — Confirm the details that matter
Product scenes are AI-generated illustrations, not verified stock photographs. Materials, dimensions, quantities and ratings should come from confirmed product information rather than visual assumptions. Email us before ordering if a missing detail is essential for your trip.
